White Snow Dove

Name: White Snow Dove
Age: 53 (in Neverland years)
Gender: Female
Likes: The friendship she’s formed with Magey, and whenever Magey comes to the village. She likes teaching Magey different skills i.e., basket weaving, bead working and leather and loom working; teaching her about the different vegetation, plants and herbs that grow in Neverland and their medicinal purposes,as well as which ones are edible and which ones are not. The “Cooking Conversations” the two of them have. She likes hearing about the world where Magey comes from. She likes anyone who treats Neverland with respect and never takes more than they need from the land. She likes the lost boys for the most part, although their antics sometimes irritate her, especially when it gets her grandchildren Tiger Lily and Hard To Hit involved and in trouble.
Pet Peeves/Dislikes: Hook and his pirates. Anyone who doesn’t respect Neverland. Peter Pan and Tinker Bell. Yep, it’s true She sees Tink as an obnoxious little fairy who needs to get over her infatuation with Peter and return to her fairy responsibilities of mending pots and pans. And Peter; she appreciates her friendship with Magey so she refuses to speak bad about him in her presence. But it’s no secret she doesn’t like him. His arrogance and conceit drive her crazy. And the fact that her people were in Neverland long before he was, yet he proclaims himself to be the supreme ruler and lawmaker in Neverland has never sat well with her. She marvels at Magey’s patience with him and wonders how she can take on such an undaunting task. But, because Magey obviously receives joy from it, White Snow Dove keeps her opinions to herself. It’s an unwritten rule between the two of them not to criticize anyone. They’ve been able to maintain this quite well.
Romantic Interests: She’s married to to one of the Piccinniny warriors.
History: She the grandmother of Tiger Lily and Hard To Hit. Their mother died in childbirth with Hard To Hit, so she’s been helping raise them. She was born and raised in Neverland.
Good Points/Attributes: She’s very patient when it comes to teaching different skills. She insists on taking ones time and doing it right. And she’s very knowledgeable about the plant life in Neverland, making sure to explain every little detail. She’s also a very good listener when it comes to Magey dealing with ther problems with mothering Peter Pan (even if she doesn’t like the little twerp!). She gives good, solid advice and tells Magey how it is and how it should be, to the point where she can be cruel at times. She’s figured out Magey is running away from something and she’s able to help her cope with the pain she’s running from, although this is done in much more subtle ways, to the point where Magey has no idea it’s happening.
Bad Points/Attributes: Because of her no nonsense, straight forward look on life, the things she says can be hurtful, especially if it’s something someone doesn’t want to hear. Although she’s good at giving advice, she doesn’t always like it when someone gives it to her, and she rarely ever listen to her own advice when she knows she should. She’s also quick to judge someone or a situation before getting a clear picture. She did this to Magey when they first met - unbeknownst to Magey - because she’s from that other world, and she had preconceived ideas about what Magey would be like. This was what their friendship was first based off of. Fortunately, she was proven wrong and she now feels bad about being so judgmental.
Fashion Statement: She wears a long deerskin/leather short sleeve tunic dress that ends just below her knees. There’s lacing up both sides, and bead work along the collar, cuffs, hem and lacing. She wears brown legging underneath and beaded shoe moccosins.
Physical Appearance: She’s very short and petite. Her long black - yet graying - hair is worn in two long braids down either side of her head which are tied with leather strraps and tribal bands. She looks younger than she is despite the exposure to the elements, but she has a knowledged look to her as well. Her large brown eyes express the wisdom she’s gained over the years.
